Death of theologians

The death of Eric James (see obituary), biographer of John Robinson (see book review), my director of religious studies when I was at Trinity College, Cambridge, has prompted me to find out what has happened to other theologians who affected me. I find that Alaister Kee also died last year (see obituary notice).

I was influenced by death of God theology. Strange looking back the extent to which people were willing to go to hang on to religion.

Hi,
I do read your blog regularly because we have met, although you most likely don't remember it.

From your blog: 'Strange looking back the extent to which people were willing to go to hang on to religion.' I would like to say that most people do not hang on to 'RELIGION'. They hang on to thier 'FAITH' (Faith in GOD). 'Faith' is a personal experience. No one can give it to you or take it from you.
I believed in God, I do not hang on to 'religion' I hang on to my faith and my blessing( if that make sense).
Learn to count your blessing and you would know what I meant. You are a kind person and I believed that is one of your blessing.
